Our Covert Inspector called yesterday and advised us that our roof tiles were starting to fall into position...

Frame week 2
Driving past tonight, around a week later ... this is what I saw!
Front of house
Alfresco area
Alfresco area (this is where the bbq is going)
Back of house (showing theatre room)
I'm standing pretty much where my vegies will go!
Back of house from about 5 metres inside the fenceline ... crikey it looks like a big backyard now! (compared to this piddly one we're in now!)
Also to the left, you will see my kitchen window where the stove is going to be!
The carpenters were just lovely, the dude that waved from the roof the other day introduced himself and welcomed me on site, he ended up suggesting I go up the "stairs" (which was a ladder) to have a look upstairs but I opted out of that idea, given that I was wearing heels and a skirt! (so much for OH&S and staying off the site!!)

But now it's feeling real, I'm very excited!

Frame Stage - Day 2
Drove past at around 3.30pm today, and the tradies are now hard at work in-between the floors, trying to get the roofing done so they can start on the second storey. I even got a thumbs up from the dude on the roof, he was quite lovely. Can't wait till the weekend when I can get out the car and fossick around unsupervised, just don't have the balls to do it just yet.

Frame commences
So Easter came and went, and the slab was allowed to dry for almost 2 full weeks (which is pretty remarkable it was stretched out that long!)
Just before Easter we drove past and there had been a delivery of windows and sliding doors, and they had put a lock on the fence:
And then tonight after work I head out there again, and low and behold ... we have some frame! There was a generator roaring in the background as I was taking these photos as we still don't have the underground power organised. Thankfully it's not holding them back...
Obviously we will have quite a few pics coming in the next few days, hopefully the rain doesn't slow them down.
